I'm alive!

Sorry for the spread format but you get the idea. Took me a whopping two hours to knock this one out! Yes I know the perspective on the rocket is screwed up.

Pansy Lady

This is my final for my watercolor class. I was having so much fun that I finished a week early and I wanted to get some critique on it before I turn it in. Sorry that the picture didn't have the best light. The matte it's in is white, just to give you an idea. Thanks! Can you believe this is for my grandma? :) Pansies are her favorite flower, especially the purple and yellow ones, and her email address is pansylady. So I took the opportunity to do a fun illustration, my watercolor final, and my grandma's Christmas gift all in one. I hope it'll make it to Florida in time.

So in between work and the kids, I decided to try and enter into the gnomon contest again- this months subject- plague. I think I may be done but I wanted to run the piece by you guys to get crits before I send it in. tried a lot of new things on this piece that I hope are working in its favor. Let me know what i can do to improve and hopefully I can get this into gnomon on time. thanks everyone

Adom - 3D Sculpey! WIP

Forgive the crappy pics and the fact that i shot the photos on my laptop ^.^ anyway this is just to show yall what is going on, and seeing if anyone has any ideas. I have him further refined now and painted flat grey. soon I will begin painting the rest if there isnt anything else to be fixed.

small tweaks added- I knocked down the green a bit and I applied a little bit of purple to the buildings- let me know if this helps at all- thanks.
I finally got some time to do a personal project- I keep remembering summers growing up with my brother and things we did during that time. One was playing cowboys and indians, so I decided to do this little picture. Let me know what you all think- once again, trying to do more narrative pics.

FINAL REVISION for now... at least until I get some sleep. @..@

Revision: Dog has been added. AND I SPILT ACETONE ON MY WACOM!!!! ARGGHHH!! Everything seems to be working fine, but the touch sensitive scroll area is acting wacky. I hope it dries out without problems @.@ Looking at it now I think I will shrink the dog even more. 

This is to figure out the layout of the characters. I think I will print two in case Brother Abbegglen is not appeased with overlapping characters with them more spread out. There is a dog that is not pictured, but that is because I am painting until my eyes bleed tonight. If any of you happen to be on, anyone.. Crits are welcome especially before I print them and use a ton of ink on my printer ;)
