  1. Looks cool, it makes me want to know mroe about the story behind it. :D I have 3 suggestions. Right now I feel like he is floating, so I would strengthen the shadows beneath him to make him feel like he is standing instead of floating. You might also put some of the yellow stuff which I presume to be treasure in front of his feet to further that depth. Suggestion 2 in his skintones I would be careful of the less saturated colors, its borderline bruising on his jowels and forehead. It hasn't crossed that line just yet but from far away thats what I started to see. Final Suggestion is placement of cloud/moon I would move them, they ar just skirting on the periphery of hte ghost, I might overlap them. (to create more transparency you need something behind it to create that effect.) oh and the moon is a little dark, but all in all, I like the viking dude :D he definitely has attitude. Great job sam! keep it up! are you in cali?

  2. Thanks for the suggestions- I will try those out and see how they look- by the way I saw that you are doing a dry brush technique in digital- how do you do that? I have been messing around trying to find a way but there haven't been any clear answers.
