Mesa Temple

So heres my deal. Why isn't there any cool/trendy religious art? I took it upon myself to make something cool to hang up in my home and be proud of. It turned out a lot better than I had anticipated. I think I might try marketing this and selling this and some others in the future.

  1. Brilliant, Cliff! I think it's great! My only suggestion would be to lighten up the temple itself. - For symbolic and design purposes. Otherwise- spot on. Do Denver next? :)

  2. That's funny because that's exactly what I was planning on doing! I'll try to lighten the temple again. I tried before and it didn't have the feeling I was going for.

  3. I agree with emily. I think its sweet. however keep in mind that there are many many conservative lds members that undoubtedly will be offended because its not your traditional approach to religious artwork.

  4. Yes I know that. Thats why I love it so much. Nobody caters to people who are sick of the traditional lds art, thats why I did it. It's probably not for mom, dad, or your grandparents but I'm sure there is a younger demographic of church members who will connect with it. If not, it will make for a nice conversation piece on my wall.
